Borisov Hospital Abandonded Babies Ward

Children are abandoned at the hospital for a variety of reasons. Some are born here and their young mothers cannot cope, some are taken from the mother by the authorities who have decided the mothers are unfit and some are disabled and need specialist care. The ward provides somewhere the babies can thrive and at 3+ months they move on, usually to the Borisov Abandoned Babies Home when the paperwork is completed.
We provide nappies, bedding, hats and swaddling sheets and are aiming to provide a ball pool for therapy purposes.
